Default variables not set in object

I've found a case where some default variables are not being set...



' test.bas
print "DefaultDir=";DefaultDir$
print "ProjectRoot=";ProjectsRoot$
print "Platform=";Platform$
print "UserInfo=";UserInfo$
print "UrlKeys=";UrlKeys$
print "UserAddress=";UserAddress$
print "ResourcesRoot=";ResourcesRoot$



sub test
 print "== Object in Sub =="
 run "test", #object2
 render #object2
end sub

print "== Object Outside Sub =="
run "test", #object1
render #object1

call test


For some reason when test.bas is run inside a sub, the only default variables with values are DefaultDir$ and Platform$.

As a workaround for the near future you can call a function inside the main program from the child program to get the missing information.
