I've just brought RunBasic - unfortunately, directly after installation, I get the Error: Can't open rb.im
Cancel to debug message.
A rbp.IM file is present, but not rb.im

Hi,
Thanks for your order. How are you trying to start Run BASIC? From the command line? If so type this:
rbp rb.im

I started it from the icon executable. There is no rb.im present unfortunately, only rbp.im

What happens if you start it from the BAT file icon - runbasic.bat ?

Thats the same too. I also had the same problem with the free version too.
The batch file contains rbp rb.im - unfortunately rb.im doesn't exist. rbp.im does though
Got the inital files mixed up unfortunately.
Both the executable and batch file want rb.im (which doesn't exist). rbp.im does though.

I can only recommend that you uninstall and reinstall Run BASIC. You might even want to try downloading it again.
Be sure to launch it from the Start button menu.
Let me know how it goes.

A re-download and re-installation fixed it. Its actually what I had to do with the demo too - for some reason the IM file isn't created properly the first time (or something)

Out of interest, what platform are you using RB on I have never had problems on the Windows platform, so this might be related to access rights on Linux and MAC. It is always good to include the operating system version for problems related to running and installing software.
