How do I get a pop up message to show up on links using mouse over? Here is code showing a submit button with a pop up. Placing the mouse over the button shows the pop up message. The same same code using a link does not show the pop up.
html "<a title='popup mouse over help message'><INPUT TYPE='SUBMIT' NAME='submit' VALUE='Mouse Over Test'></a>" html "<HR>" html "<a title='popup mouse over help message'>" link #l,"[Mouse Over Test]", [submit] html "</a>"
Help!!! What am I doing wrong???

html "<HR>" html "<span><a title='popup mouse over help message'" link #l,"[Mouse Over Test]", [submit] html "</a></span>" html "<span><a title='another popup mouse over help message'" link #2,"[Mouse Over Test]", [yyy] html "</a></span>"
<span> does the trick for me with IE7, not tried it with FF.
EDIT: <span> not required!
html "<HR>" html "<a title='popup mouse over help message'" link #l,"[Mouse Over Test]", [submit] html "</a>" html "<a title='another popup mouse over help message'" link #2,"[Mouse Over Test]", [yyy] html "</a>"
Looking at the RB generated page source makes me wonder whether it is a good idea to try and fudge things with html. Although the above works (in IE7 at least) the RB link are enclosed in second set of anchor tags. My attempts at adding popups to an image src do not work.
Carl needs to clarify how much of this added functionality is to built in to RB in the future. An example would be loadimage or loadgraphic where the only parameter is the image file path/name. The generated html adds alt="" and it would be effective to be able to add alt or title text as a second parameter. Similarly for links et al.
I am confused now as to how valid 'fudges' can be and for how long they will work. Are we trying to stretch RBv1 too far?
EDIT 2: (Sorry to make this a long post!)
I can now add a popup to an image
html "<img alt='Clouds banner'" loadgraphic #pic,"C:\rbp\public\cloudsbanner1.JPG" render #pic wait
.... but is the is the generated html source valid ?
