Is there a simple way to check if a file exists?
I've seen some examples of "If fileExists(fileName$)" but every time I try it in a simple if then else format, I get a Type mismatch error.
What am I missing?

Thank you turbov21, that's exactly what I needed. I hadn't discovered the index of building blocks on the Run Basic wiki. Maybe now I can figure out what I'm doing Thanks again.
