Okay, folks, fire away! RunBASICnet is taking its first baby-steps, and needs some helping hands in the form of questions, queries, requests, problems, solutions, and shared experiences.

How about a sticky post on this board with links, 'n' stuff?

Yet another good idea! I'll get the Marketing and Promotions Dept working on it. (puts new sock-puppet on other hand....) I'm offline until 22:00 GMT today, but that one's going to the top of the list.

First application was a breeze once I discovered I had to change the sample link provided by Jerry from 8011 to 8015. Guess that's why it's called a sample link. DUH! I'm not able to access the ftp site. I'm being directed to an "Under Construction" page. I would like to upload a few images and text files. Also, I'd like to know how to delete .bas files. The IDE doesn't allow deletions. Can files be deleted through the ftp site? Thus far I'm a very happy customer! Janet

I've upgraded my boilerplate technique to flag overlooked insertions. Let's handle this one by email, since it may involve usernames and passwords. I've tested the FTP function with the username and password I sent you, and it hooks right up. Are you using MSIE, or a Real FTP Client? Yes. The FTP connection goes right to your subdomain directory. So anything you do there is instantly online. You'll be even happier when everything's fixed and running for you!

I was out for a while. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. FTP works great. I've looked around and uploaded an image earlier this afternoon. I'm seeing the project folders just like they are on my C: drive at home. The problem getting there was totally with me. I'm just getting happier and happier!
