Any one found a way of presetting default text in an input widget, so the user only clicks the Accept button to accept the default ?
(As in value="text" for html input widget)

I'm not really sure about what are you wanting... do you mean something like... textbox #t1, "sometext" ? if not, you can try javascript... textbox #t1, "default value" ' this sets a default value to the textbox component #t1 setid("mytextbox")
html "<script type='text/JavaScript'>" ' this changes the value of the text component, try commenting this line to see what happens html "document.form1244.mytextbox.value = ""js test""" html "</script>" wait
well, "form1244" eventually will change, but you can get the document elements looking for your desired component...

Thanks wurlde, sorry my post was not very precise. Using RB's input widget, input "Prompt text";p$ generates an empty input control box with an accept button, with a prompt for the user to input something. What I would like is for the input box to contain some default text so that clicking the accept button fills p$ with the default text. Probably one for a feature request to Carl.
