My music website is up and running. But I want to improve it. www.mroldies.netI need someone who is familiar with javascript and run basic. While what I have now works, I need it a little more functional. The audio player is basically controlled by javascript. What I need is a way to keep track of what songs have been played. When a song is played, the database is updated. I will do the code for the run basic side. I just need someone to work on the javascript stuff. if you're interested, contact me. info[at]mroldies.net

Hi Mr Oldies!
I love the concept of your site!
Listening to "Honey" right now.
So what you need is a counting component for each song ? With the counts accessible, maybe along with some other "plays" info ?
Do you have plans for a sleeker UI ? So you want to use Run Basic with SQLite ? How would you like the information (data) delivered, stored, or accessible to you ?
I like how you have a single audio control that plays through the list automatically, or whichever one you click.
I notice you use iframes of PHP pages. Do you want to include your RB content as an iframe like that too ?
My time is limited and devoted to other projects, but If you don't find any other help, please send me a message on here. I'm currently waist deep in solving problems with JavaScript.
Wow though, what a great playlist!
Also, thanks for starting this thread.

Thanks for the offer and willingness to help. I kind of like the way that runbasic uses a simple database file rather than a mysql table. The script I'm using now is from github and called audiojs. I used php to generate the shuffled list. Then the javascript does the rest. I think with runbasic behind the scenes, I could make it a bit more slicker. Future plans will see the playlist include all the top 100 songs. Plus a full fledged personal radio station. The reason for the iframe under the player is for more information to be shown later. That's where runbasic will come in handy. PM me here or send me an email.
Thanks
