Is there any way to turn off the automatic '?' at the end of an input statement?

You could use a function to do the same thing.
An example would be to add the following function to your code.
function INPUTtool$(text.to.print$) html text.to.print$ textbox #input1, "" button #domore, "submit", [submit] wait
[submit] INPUTtool$ = #input1 contents$() end function
to use the function simply place the text you want for the input question in the function and set the variable to the functions value as shown below.
my.variable.to.input.to$ = INPUTtool$("The text to prompt the user with")
I believe that the code above will work.
