Hello -
I am new here. I ran the sample program "tinyImageApp", localhost as well as from the runBasic server. It worked ok.
But - as soon I put in something else to display than "mandelbrot.jpg", like "cloudsbanner1.JPG" - a file that DOES exist in the 'public' directory - it always says "file not found". On localhost continuously the mandelbrot.jpg picture is to be seen, no matter what JPG I insert.
I also notice that EACH time the program tinyImageApp (with the mandelbrot.jpg-picture) is run it inserts a further anonymous file like 2A3G456.PNG into the 'image' directory, which is just a png-copy of the mandelbrot.jpg.
Ok - so there seems to something fairly confusing here.
And by the way, can anybody tell me in SIMPLE and efficient (?!) words/code, how DO I put a bitmap onto my page ??
javascript:add("%20???")

Hello - I found the solution myself. The statement in the sense "the bitmap must be in the same directory" as given in the descriptions is NOT correct. Under 'localhost' as well under 'http'/''publish' the bitmap call must contain public\ eg in tinyImageApp.bas it must read :
public\mandelbrot.jpg
