I've created a simple file manager - see it's wiki page for details - runbasic.wikispaces.com/RFile. It's based on a PHP file manager called FileDrawers (aka mfile) ( filedrawers.org) - although only for the look and feel and icons - the code was all written from scratch in Run Basic. You can get an idea of what it looks like at filedrawers.org/filedrawers_demo.php - that's the FileDrawers demo. Note that although it should work on all platforms, it has only been tested on Windows so far ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Feedback is welcome.

Thanks for sharing Neal
running under PcLinuxos the program locks-up if I try any directory other than rb101 and below. I'm guessing permission problems. Unfortunately not smart enough to figure how to solve it.
regards
Laurie

Thanks Laurie,
Looks like there are a few problems on unix - I've got a unix version of RB running now so I should have it sorted in a few days hopefully.

Ok, I think I have fixed some of the issues on Linux/Max OS X. It still hangs when trying to access '/' (at least on Max OS X anyway), but that appears to be a Run Basic bug (similar to the problem with C:\ on Windows?)

Is this code available anywhere else since wikispaces is gone?
