I only use FireFox, google Chrome is fast and is my second choice. I like the Web Developer add-ons that FF has.
I'm finding that most of my applications just don't render well or at all in IE and Opera.
What browser do you use?

I use IE7 on my development machine. My server has IE6 no point in updating it since I never use it for surfing. The machine in my office (my girlfriends) has the latest Firefox on it. I use that to test for compatibility issues, and there are a few. No offense to Firefox users but I find that IE does a better job of interpreting programmer intent. IE always does exatly what I tell it, and puts things almost exactly where I want them. Firefox needs a little help to do what I want. Just my expreience.
I've tried Chrome as well. The only other brower that impresses me is Konqueror for Linux. Everything else is more or less a wash. Not impressed enough to stop using IE.. BTW I tried IE8 and I like it but when you right click to view source you can't edit.. so I trashed that one as well and went back it IE7.
Just my 2c

I use IE8 and FF3.5
IE is not following the official web standards exactly, because it introduces its own standards and command set, whereas any other browser follows the official web standards.

I use Chrome and FireForx - and in that order. I guess my experience is more like Cores. It's just that like the standards, and IE has their own. I use JS a lot. You basically have to write the script for everyone else then add tests for IE to support their standards. Here is a site comparing the major browsers and their compatibility you may find interesting: www.electronista.com/reviews/browser-tests-chrome-firefox-ie-safari.htmlYou may be interested in their conclusions. I like the new HTML5 functions. I need browsers that support it. HTML5 has functions that you used to write a lot of code for. radar.oreilly.com/2009/05/google-bets-big-on-html-5.htmlMaybe I do to many special things . But this has been my experience. Dan

IE7 and IE8.... sometimes FF3.x just to test my RB apps
I find I tend to need to put IE8 in compatibility mode so it shows the same as IE7 for RB apps, but thats Microsoft for you changing so much within IE8!
