beta2 When requesting contents of a textarea I am getting "Unrecognized command for HTTP Request: contents$()" Am I missing something with the new #request object command or is this a bug? my code is simply "request$=#request contents$()" where a textarea named #request has been populated by the user. This worked fine in the first release and beta1 John "Psycho" Siejkowski

If you look in the release notes you'll see that there is a new global object called #request which has an instance of HTTP Request. If you reuse this object variable it will get overwritten.
Perhaps I should change the name to something else, or maybe we need a compiler warning.

Carl, Call it a mix of mis-interpretation of the release notes by me along with dumb luck that I already had a program using that exact same handle. That being said, the program I was using it in is in its infancy so I've already changed it to make the program work. It seems like a logical name so I won't suggest you change it on your end. Perhaps a compiler warning John
