Hi there,
I'm trying to get a better looking OGame-style site...
so, for now, I've in mind flash client side...
the question is, does anyone know a freeware/cheap(less than 60US$) potent flash builder?
Visual Basic/Delphi/Borland Builder style...
I've tested a few, and they have serious restrictions (limited number of "frames" (eg: limited to 5 pages), no user interaction (like a movie) and so...)
P.S. I'm testing "Sothink SWF Quicker", "Wink 2.0" and "SwishMax" at this moment...
Wink has little options, but is freeware, Sothink seems poweful, but requires some learning...

I have been using Sothink SWF Quicker for about a year and i love it. Its better that paying $700 for adobes bloated Flash CS3 Professional.

do you know anything about getURL function?
well, this is the idea, having a flash client side i want to make calls to RB... like "http://somedomain/.../main?a=b&c=d..."
it says... "Loads a document from a specific URL into a window or passes variables to another application at a defined URL"
but it's suposed to be used to open a page, is there a better way, one doing only the invocation and nothing more?
also I'm going to test "loadVariables" to get info from RB, do you know what the format is? (this is, what I must send from RB)
thanks

Woooowwwww... I think I'm getting a degree in Dark Science as a Dark Force Side Student... I have a simple test communicating a flash applicacion with RB, sending and receiving vars values... now I need to test if there's some kind of trouble with data values and it's updates... It's very simple, but you need to know the basics of Flash and ActiveScript (I didn't until yesterday) P.S. I forgot to mention, I'm using the last beta version
