I meant Well, now that I re-reread my response, I guess that was slightly snarky. Sorry. BTW Bill, what is "almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea"? Will it help if I put a paper bag on my head and lay down? -Carl

I meant Some pieces of the Flickr Api and Amazon's S3 services require hashing various keys for authentication services. That said, when I first asked I didn't realize the thing I was trying to do didn't need that.

Carl: It's from Hitchhiker's Guide. I seriously doubt that putting a paper bag on your head would help. I'm using it as part of my collection of doublespeak words that can be used to silently protest growing socialist and anti-Christian trends in this country. Yes, I'm one of those freaks - don't tell no one At any rate, I think somebody posted an MD5 function for LB4 that could easily be ported if there is no in-built RB function. I'll be looking for that...

I remember people trying to make an MD5 function for LB, but I don't think it ever was completed. Turns out the routine is rather hard to code :/

my code hosted on internet server is public-domain if not is encrypted !!! whit some software it is possible to download whole site !!! Your code isn't hosted. Your application is hosted. With Run BASIC your code can be located on a different machine if you really want it to be. -Carl

my code hosted on internet server is public-domain if not is encrypted !!! whit some software it is possible to download whole site !!! It's on the server, but the source code is not available to the public. Carl fixed this a while back, so the source code is only avaible via the IDE.
