Can the following code be modified so the YouTube video starts with just one click?
Cls Print: Print Print "Video = Using CSS with Run BASIC by Carl Gundel" key$ = "1qomg67VdF0" Print "Key = ";key$ Print Print "Video requires 2 Clicks to start" Print: Print html "<embed src='http://www.youtube.com/v/";key$;"&rel='1' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' wmode='transparent' width='425' height='355'></embed>" Print: Print
Link #q, "Quit", [quit] Wait
[quit] Cls End
The same code, launching a .wmv video, begins playing without any click. Can the html code be modified so the video requires a click before starting?
Cls Print: Print Print "Video = Math911 - excerpt from Late Show with Jay Leno" Print "Video is found everywhere around the web." Print Print "Video starts without a click" Print: Print html "<embed src='http://janetterra.com/math911.wmv' &rel='1' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' wmode='transparent' width='425' height='355'></embed>" Print: Print
Link #q, "Quit", [quit] Wait
[quit] Cls End
Thanks, Janet

What you're seeing is a byproduct of the way IE handles ActiveX controls. There's no workaround. The IE Team has said on their blog that the issue will be fixed in a pending update to IE7.
