Hello,
I was wondering if any one has run more than one session of the server on the same machine. Just different port numbers.
I plan to run a deferent server for every thread my CPU has. I also plan on having those instances all work of the same projects and public directory's.
Also I plan on having the port 80 server automatically rerouteing publish applications to one of the servers on another port.
In this way making a multi threaded web server capable of handling more than one client simultaneously and not slowing down other users.
I was also thinking about putting the public directory in a ram disk. Making the public directory on a ram disk for extreme performance.
I was also thinking about making a standard set of tools for running paralleled processes on common files like converting videos from format to format using ffmpeg.
Tasks could be started on the server by using a simple url key with some thing a kin to executing a program with some options following it.
/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=KeyTest?&&key_____FFMpeg.exe%20"File to convert______________
