This appears to be pretty simple and I only tested this with FireFox. - Create a 16x16 pixal image. I used www.favicon.cc/
- Save this as favicon.ico in your Public directory.
- Clear the Cache and close/restart browser.
Your favicon should appear next to your url and any Tabs. Respectfully, Core

If you have several sites and like to have different icons, use the following:
html "<link rel='SHORTCUT ICON' href='/favicons/myapp1_favicon.ico'/>"
This assumes that you have a folder called favicons in the public folder, which contains the icon files.
This will allow you to have separate favorites icons for each published application.
