I have emailed carl a couple of times on this, I guess he must be very busy, but being honest this is a serious subject, as data can be intercepted so easily as it passes over the internet..
if anyone is posting personal data, theirs or others into web based apps (RB or anyother platform for that matter) then encrpytion is need ie, ssl certificate. It wouldn't surprise me if the data protection act in the UK will cover this one day???
Carl, any chance of an update?? is it something your working on or have ideas? I realise it won't be a quick thing to do tough... I've installed SSL certificates on IIS and managed to mess up it a couple of times. we use godaddy certs at work... whether these can be integrated one day, only carl knows...
many thanks James

You can use IIS as well or any other web server.
If you have a working set up of running RB behind IIS, would you mind adding this information to a post on the Hosting a Site with Run BASIC board, sub-board IIS.
