The run command comes back immediately to the next line in your program. You can't stop this. However I want to stay in the RUN program and do stuff. This tricks the system to let you do it.
[top] cls html "<HR>So.. You wanna run a program.<BR>" button #runit, "Run It",[runit] wait [runit] cls
html "<TABLE BORDER=1 width=100%><TR align=center><TD bgcolor=red>" button #rtna, "Exit Include",[top] html "</TD></TR></TABLE>"
incdir$ = DefaultDir$ + "\projects\calendar_project\" prog$ = "user.bas" run incdir$;prog$,#include render #include
html "<TABLE BORDER=1 width=100%><TR align=center><TD bgcolor=red>" button #rtnb, "Exit Include",[top] html "</TD></TR></TABLE>" wait
Here I put a "Exit Include" button on the top and the bottom. You only need one.
It runs a complete user maintenance with Add, Change, Delete, List etc. Within the user.bas program, you can issue cls commands and it will only clear the user screen, but will not clear your "Exit Include" buttons or anything form the main program.
Your "Exit Include" button will go to any tag within the main program you wish .. In this case it goes to [top] where it clears the entire screen including any user maintenance stuff the may be displayed.
HTH.. Have a great day..
