Hello, I would like to post information about my online RB code editor here. It is going to be a free/opensource/community project . I will post updates to it on the wiki (if thats ok). I also will post questions here too, if you'd like to be a part I'll post code here and you can do what you can. I'm working on this project as I can, so it could be a week or two between updates. Here is the editor box I'm using www.cdolivet.net/index.php?page=editArea&sess=9de19973ececdcb397ece6e5f01a5224

EditArea is an interesting widget. We started playing with EditArea and RB integration back in May. Experimentally it has been a success here, but it won't be shipped with RB for some time yet though just because proper use of it will require some fundamental changes in our page rendering code in RB. Interestingly I just visited their current live example of EditArea and the current release seems to have some compatibility issues with Safari. Oh well, I have an older version that seems to work okay. -Carl

I don't think English is his first language so he might not of understood what I was saying. Maybe the source can be tweaked to make adjustments for different browsers. It wasn't too hard to implement the java script or to load a bas file. This is an interesting project, hope it can turn into something useful.
