Hey all. I've seen mention in another thread of a server that someone has provided for users here for $10 / month, in 6 month packages, for posting their Run Basic software to. I bought my own site at www.1and1.com last July though and I was wondering if I can post programs that I will be writing in Run Basic, to THERE. I just finished trying a test - pasting all of one of the example programs as it is, into a blank HTML document. I saved it as 'test.html', creating a link on my current webpage to it. Saving my webpage to my site, I then went to the site to click on the link 'Test'. It brought up the code, exactly as I had pasted it, onto the blank HTML page. I've looked through all of the title headings with the Help area of RB, but I haven't found anything explaining how to publish a program to a web page, when it may run from. So - 2 questions actually: may, I post written programs (for running) to my non-commercial web page, or do I have either run it from my own computer that's set up as a server, or join the other chap's site at $10 / month? Thanks for any possible help on this one. I'll continue searching through all of the help files within RB to see if I possibly missed the answer within a write up somewhere within. Take care, Rych www.molindarius.com/numerology - (1 of my 3 pages running from the www.1and1.com server)

If you can talk your hosting company into installing RB on their server then you are good to go. Other wise you will need to run it from your PC that it is installed on or use the service that Jerry set up.

Thank you greatly, for letting me know the options. For now, I'll leave my machine as the server then for testing and decide later on which way to go. Take care, Warmth and Peace, Rych www.molnidarius.com/numerology
