When I'm running RB Personal on port 80, what's the URL to fire it up with a published program? "http://localhost/runbasic?app=rbwiki" returns a "ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND ("c:\rbp\public\runbasic")" error, although "http://localhost/" gets me the RB login screen.

Okay, I've got it, with: http://localhost/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=rbwiki I did try to get rid of the extra stuff in that URL (seaside/go/runbasicpersonal) but didn't quite figure that out. I'll try again in a future release. -Carl

Thanks but that only works with newer versions of Seaside. I've been over this ground before. I'm sure we'll figure it out sooner or later. :-) -Carl

Here's a little JavaScript hack in the meantime: kerovia.net:8008/index.html?app=MapTestAnd the code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <head> <title>Redirecting...</title> <script type="text/javascript"> // Ganked from and modified from: // javascript.about.com/library/blqs1.htm function qs() { var query = window.location.search.substring(1); var parms = query.split('&'); var app = "";
for (var i=0; i<parms.length; i++) { var pos = parms.indexOf('='); if (pos > 0) { var key = parms.substring(0,pos); var val = parms.substring(pos+1); if (key == "app") { this.app = val; } } } } </script> </head> <body> <script type="text/javascript"> var x = new qs(); window.location = "/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=" + x.app; </script> </body> </html> |
