hi all, finally I found a solution to host runbasic on linux vps. if any body interested I will provide runbasic hosting with the following configuration: RAM: 1 GB Processor: XeonE5 Cores: 1 HDD: 20GB SSD Bandwidth: 200GB IP: 1 cost will be 29 usd per month or 348 usd per year. no https only http is available now. I did not experiment running RB server behind Apache Server yet. A simple email solution is possible . you can choose India or US for VPS location.
Note. A few things about me :
- I am a big fan of Just Basic with user id zzz000abc from India
- my business is registered under proprietary for software services

Hi abc, I am very much interested in this, BUT. Can you offer a much lower rental fee for less resources?
My needs are modest, 1g memory, 300meg storage space and I'd be happy to share a processor.

Hi abc, I am very much interested in this, BUT. Can you offer a much lower rental fee for less resources? My needs are modest, 1g memory, 300meg storage space and I'd be happy to share a processor. hi jerry, is it ok for you instead of port 80 if I provide you port 8008 or 8080 or 8000 to cut the costs ? If you say yes I will provide you demo/test hosting for about one month and if you are happy with that we can decide on pricing and continuation of the service. The minimum configuration of the VPS slice offered to me was shown in my first post. So the cost comes down by sharing the resources (1GB RAM 10GB ssd) between 2 to 4 persons. So initially 1GB ram is shared by you and me . you can use it for 1month if you like you can continue. Mean while I look for other solutions like installing open vz on vps. so you will be having the following : 1GB ram ,10GB ssd shared between two people. you will get a subdomain with a port other 80. you can send email with google smtp or other domains smtp (if you own a domain) . No need of using send mail. I will provide a feature to take backup of your work in tar.gz format on your own
