Any chance of a native sort function being implemented in Run BASIC? (I'm wondering if we should have a separate Wish List board?)

I'm not so sure that sorting natives would be all that useful. But a built-in array sort would be nice. I've got a heapsort routine in, like 8 different languages (because it's the only sort routine I can actually understand). Would that help?

For a long time, I thought Bubble Sort was the only way to sort. Then, a while back, a very clever fellow convinced Alyce to issue a Graphical Sort Challenge and I found out there are more and better ways to sort. I don't recall the heapsort, though, Jerry, so, yes, I would very much like that code. Thanks.

I, too, would like expanded array functions, not only sorting (with option for case) but insertion and deletion as well.
