These all look terrific, really cool. Thought though, Run BASIC isn't actually retro, but I do like the inference. Would a sexier background fill hint at it's modern origins, feint bubbles? slight shading? your typical browser background fill? Perhaps not they look pretty good as they are.

I like them all, Neal. We can pick a color to match local color schemes, for web sites and RB apps.

Neal, I've temporarily used a version of your graphic for the forum logo. May we have your permission to keep it?

Neal, what a nice collection, the colours are much better now, since they are not so aggressive to the eye any more.
A graduated background like a rainbow would be a nice addition for those remembering Flower Power.

One last tweak.... How about making the "R" on the key bigger, more like it is on the keyboard? 'Course, then it would make you think, "RRRRRRRun"....

I think the grey (last) is best, but they all are good ones. Maybe them all should be kept safe? If someone wants to use one of them as banner, he can pick up the color that fits best in hes/her website?

What about using the F2 key? That would conjure the image of a wireless connection, making the hybrid of web design and BASIC programming more visual?

Neal, I've temporarily used a version of your graphic for the forum logo. May we have your permission to keep it? Absolutely - they are hereby released into the public domain. I've put them all on my personal wiki, so they will always be available there - the address is www.staddle.net/dokuwiki/runbasic/logo

I did think of a rainbow/flower power style background... but my graphic skills are pretty basic (Solid colour fills I'm ok with ;D) Having said that, the program I'm using can certainly do some fancy effects, so I'll have a bit more of a play around and see what happens!

I like the logos submitted by Neal. Good job.
A tiny little suggestion: BASIC should not be italic, only the Run...

The overwhelming favorite of The Staff, and the new Run BASIC Wiki logo, is: Our appreciation to Neal for coming up with the design, cheerfully tweaking and modifying it to accommodate everyone's suggestions, and giving the design and its variations over to Public Domain so everyone can use them to brag about Run BASIC.
