I was parsing some url data.. But the code in prior - versions work... I was changing the code and all of a sudden it can't cant find the branch label back to the top of the search.. v=0 'i set the pointer to start.. . [again] i do the search parsing here... if instr(url$,"http",v) then [exit] ' not found then end search... ... more parsing... I look for the next find in the url$ data start thru the search again... goto[again] [exit] The return is .. Runtime Error in program 'untitled': goto[again]Branch label not found: [again] never seen that every happen before.. I'm stumpped? I copyed the label into the goto so if there was an unprintable... . didn't work... same error... Any ideas?

Despite the missing space character between the GOTO and the branch, there is nothing that I can tell to be wrong from the posted fragments.
With only these fragments the problem can't be reproduced, so would you mind posting a small example experiencing the problem that we can run too?
BTW, the project folder contains your previous versions, so you can always compare the current code with the previous one using WinMerge, WinDiff or similar.

i found it.... There a was a typo... not sure why the compiler didnt flag it as a badly constructed....
[branchto" <----- the error was obvious...
Glad to find it and it all worked out.. I was off key when I typed it...
Not sure why it was not flaged without a closing quote...
