Happy Holidays to all......
I am a Run Basic Virgin so my questions may seem pretty darn ignorant, but here's my first.
I have read that Run Basic uses its own server? So I'm not sure how this works. I have my own web site now. If I write a program in Run Basic how is it I can run it on MY web site?
Thanks for your help.

Jon, You don't run Run BASIC from your website. Run BASIC allows your own personal PC to act as a server, so the program is generated and broadcasted from your own pc. Read Carl's Tutorial for getting started Hosting Your Own Site at HomeYou can check out the Free Version of Run BASIC. Keep in mind the free version will only allow access within your own home network. When you're ready to interact with the world, you'll need the commercial version.

Thank you Janet, that clears things up a bit. My ignorance yet once again will show here: I assume that security is rather secure? I do a lot on this computer. Is Run Basic secure from hackers? or worst yet, evil doers? will my Norton be all I need for this purpose?
I'm reading that a port is used to connect, or "forward" my program thru my IP address onto the internet?
My goal is to allow a user to download their daily health journal through a web so that their data may be collected on a daily or weekly basis. There would be many many users downloading their information thru this site and collected. I have been Learning and Using Liberty Basic for 2 years now,(but still not as adept as others), and am at a point now that I would like to see these programs used via the net.
Also, for a simplified example, one program I have is a medical information program that uses a Password to enter the information. Should that password be forgotten I want the user to be able to plug in the Flash Drive and be able to reset the password via the web site so they may once again reset it to their desires.
Hope that all makes sense. I was informed through the LB Conforum that Run Basic was probably the way to go.I wish to learn all I can about Run Basic before I invest, (but I shall probably do so as LB has been so much of help, and fun.
Thanks in advance, Jon
