Ok, either "search" function hates me, or i am really dump My runbasicnet account is at runbasicnet.com/basicprogrammingWhen i enter there, url in browser is runbasicnet.com:8023/seaside/go/runbasicpersonalOk, everything clear this far. Now, if i want to go to my guestbook, url is runbasicnet.com:8023/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=guestbookI would like to have bit more clear urls here. If i buy a domain, can i make url to guestbook look like www.myurl.com/(application name here) ? Other thing is, i would like to create a simple index, which is revealed when urling to runbasicnet.com/basicprogramming I wont want logins to be there at all, but instead somewhere else. Now since i am dump, could someone bend this from a ironwire so even jerk like me can understand? Now ill take my dog-puppy face and wait...

You can put a separate HTML page with a redirect in, for each application, if you wish, just like the index.htm file. Then your app calls would work from http:/runbasicnet.com/basicprogramming/db.htm, http:/runbasicnet.com/basicprogramming/game.htm, etc. However, the complete and complex URL displayed in the browser can't be hidden that way. Another way would be to use a frameset for the main page, with separate frames for each address calling an app with a the redirect mentioned above. Runbasicnet.com is not set up for serving multiple domain names, at this time. Maybe if I win the lottery today, we can bump it up to that level.....

You will have to change the Home page project name: and make sure to set the Login Key:.

Stefan points the way. When you set an app as the Default Application in Preferences, you have to set a Login Key so you can get to the programming environment. I like the way Alyce sets her site up, with a simple menu to pick applications so the user doesn't have to do an typing or memory work. See runbasicnet.com/basic/

E.K.
I think this is what you're trying to do. Save this as index.htm in your public folder. In your preferences, set index.htm as your home page project name.
<html> <title>Index</title> <frameset cols="20%,80%"> <frame src="contents.htm" name="contents"/> <frame src="http://runbasicnet.com:8023/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=guestbook" name="main"/> </frameset> </html>
Then save this as contents.htm in your public folder.
<html> <title>contents</title> <head> <base target="main"> </head>
<body>
<ul> <A href="http://runbasicnet.com:8023/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=guestbook"><li>Guestbook</li></a> <A href="http://runbasicnet.com:8023/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=other1"><li>Other Stuff 1</li></a> <A href="http://runbasicnet.com:8023/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=other2"><li>Other Stuff 2</li></a> </ul>
</body> </html>
Hope that helps.
Good Luck! Jack
