my server stopped working and I don't know if it has something to do with the install of a new flash player. Wondering if it uses port 80, and I can't get 8008 going either. Any ideas?

Restarted everything a few times. I just get the standard "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." I checked the router, RB preferences, and domain forwarding. For all published programs I get the same ... whether it's port 80 or 8008. Everything is set up like it was before.
I had a power-out, re-started, and installed new flash player, then the problem started.

For all published programs? Does that mean you are able to log in and edit/run code?

Logging in and running programs locally is working fine.
I uninstalled the flash player, but that did not help.

bod.klemport.net/and rb.klemport.net/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=BridgeOfDeath...are both set up to start a program called BridgeOfDeath. One of several programs for which I have had links for in my IE favorites for several weeks now. I changed everything back to port 80 ... the way it was when it had been working fine ... since I first got it going. my "rb" subdomain is setup to forward to my IP address in this format: XX.XXX.XX.XXX My domains and subdomain are through godaddy. They all work fine except for all of the ones that go to Run BASIC programs. I've checked to see that IP address is correct, and if I type my IP address numbers in directly I get the same result. I don't know whether to suspect that the Flash Player install changed something ... or if the power-out messed up something.

When I try the short URL it seems to be trying to start Bridge of Death. Your program may be hanging. Try publishing a simpler program (maybe one of the examples that come with RB) and see if that works instead. Another thing to try is to just stick an INPUT statement at the beginning of your program to see if it gets that far. input "Just testing to see if the program starts"; a$ -Carl bod.klemport.net/and rb.klemport.net/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=BridgeOfDeath...are both set up to start a program called BridgeOfDeath. I increased the runtime timeout limit and tried what you said, but same result. Using www.t1shopper.com/tools/port-scanner/I confirmed that I'm not getting any response on port 80. Wondering about Comcast (my ISP) ADDED: Comcast reports "there is no block of Port 80 within your immediate connection"

The short URL above displays "Bridge of Death" in the titlebar indicating the program is there but stalls at that point. Have you tried changing your login key to "hangman" to see what happens?

Same thing happens. The titlebar shows the title because there's masking built into the forwarding (something I was using without problems since the beginning). I don't think it has anything to do with my many programs that worked fine for several weeks and have not been changed. In fact nothing has been changed in the entire setup. Everything's working then after a powerout, restart, and Flash Player install, nothing works via server (everything works fine locally). Using www.t1shopper.com/tools/port-scanner/I confirmed that I'm not getting any response on port 80.
