Why this does not work properly in RB? It works well in any browser.
html "<fieldset style =""width:200""> Hight <input type=""text"" size=""3"" /> Weight <input type=""text"" size=""3"" /> </fieldset>"

The code gives an output on RB. Did you expect a different output? My html skills are rudimentary at best, so perhaps I don't realize it should be different. Just curious, why go through all that when Run BASIC's native textboxes would be so much easier to code and retrieve the information? You can style with cssid and cssclass if you'd like.

Are you referring to the size of the field? If so, you need to add the "px" for pixel designation after your width amount or "%" for percentage of screen. html "<fieldset style =""width:200px""> Height <input type=""text"" size=""3"" /> Weight <input type=""text"" size=""3"" /> </fieldset>" John "Psycho" Siejkowski

Execution in any browser:
-------------------------------- !hight=XXX Weigth=XXX! --------------------------------
Execution in RB:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- !hight=XXX Weigth=XXX ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------_-------
ugly....

Try this: html "<fieldset style =""width:250px""> Height <input type=""text"" size=""2"" /> Weight <input type=""text"" size=""2"" /> </fieldset>" -Carl

Execution in any browser: -------------------------------- !hight=XXX Weigth=XXX! -------------------------------- Execution in RB: In regards to "execution in RB", when you inject HTML directly into a web page in RB using the HTML statement, that is not being executed in RB at all, but in the browser. If the browser is not behaving as you expect in such a case, double check your code. -Carl

Hi Carl,
1- Now works. The size of the frame has to be equal or bigger that the text displayed inside, otherwise the frame assumes the size of the line.
2- I knew that html commands are executed by the browses; however, I got confused when the same command was displaying different results when executed direct from the browser and from RB.
Thank you very much
Marcio
