I added a subroutine to the JavaScript section on the community wiki: runbasic.wikispaces.com/Sample+Codesub setLinkFocus id$ html "<script type='text/javascript'> document.getElementById('" + id$ + "').focus() </script>" end sub This subroutine will set the focus of a link using the RunBasic handle. For example: call setLinkFocus "#logIn"

Recently, I've been trying to build user interfaces that require less mousing and tabbing around. The idea is to keep the user focused on the activity at hand and less on the interface.
In the typical RunBasic interface that means putting the focus on the most likely place the user needs to be. In the sample Blogging demo, for example, focus on the username texbox for login and the "NewEntry" link on the main page after login.
