I open an accont in the service of Runbasicnet, and all works well except a problem with the port 8018, and many firewalls that block the page.
But some day Jerry anounced that the service is not profitable and will close. It was suposed that the service will finish the 20th august, but sice the 8th no one could enter to my site.
My online course were interrupted.
What will be the future???
Runbasic and Runbasicnet are greats ideas, i am participant of this comunity, but information is needed to take actions.

Hang on, there, Ricardo! Runbasicnet.com is Good to Go through November, at least. We want to give it time to grow!
How about telling us how you're using it? What have you got cooking?

Just for info, for security reasons many businesses block access to sites that do not run on port 80.

Thanks, Zoomkat. That seems to be the problem with the ricsoft74 account. Users are on networks that block non-port-80 activities, or have browsers (firewalls) set to block access to ports other than 80. A workaround will be to install a DNS server, and HTTP service, and run each account on its own domain name on port 80. I'm exploring that option now.
