Some of this already works, but more polish is needed. Timeline? 6 months perhaps. -Carl

Hi Carl! Hopefully a facility to detect when a user disconnects. It' be nice to catch and log that... Setting focus on a runbasic textarea and textbox would be AWESOME! A real, honest sleep function...

Hi Carl,
I have a couple of things I would like, such as a improving the 'wait' command to allow an augment stating how many seconds to wait... such as 'wait 5' this would be very useful when running 'shell apps in the background which I use for moving files from sftp server into a folder for RB to use' at the moment I have to use some mixedup javascript to do it... with a progress bar so you can see the count down...
also SSL support would be nice, but I have that it working fine in IIS using URLrewrite to RB port...
removal of seaside/go/runbasic would be nice, quite happy for it to be shortened to just /runbasic (I've tried time and time again to get that working via URL rewrite in IIS but never got it working)
better debug / error reporting.... I have had issues with browesers giving a wierd error on a dsahboard RB app I created which run's 24x7 and it took me ages to find it was another RB app running occasionally (which took 10 seconds to process data) which caused my other app (the 24x7 dashboard app) to fail and give wierd error in the browser... ' Application error.... message not understood #removeKeyifAbsent ... I did loads of google searches and got no where til I found it was another RB app causing high load on RB which caused this.
I often use sequential files and random access files and encrypt the data with my own routines... so please keep them going... as they are great for litle project and testing ideas.
set focus on password boxes (again I have javascript for this, but would be nice to have it builtin)
on the whole though I've been happy with RB and wrote many little apps, some which are in use 24x7 some others provide a web front end to LB type apps.
looking forward to new updates / new version
Many thanks
Jimbo

one more useful thing to....
a sort command, to sort an array ... such as sort(data()) in alphabetic order like the sort command you have in LB.....
thankyou

sorry heres another useful one... especially for security....
stop RB showing the editor login when an unknown project is run... such as
http://xxxxxxxxx/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=fred
http://xxxxxxxxx/seaside/go/runbasicpersonal?app=anything
make the editor login only show on the name you set it to in the config
thanks

The SHELL$() function waits for the launched process to finish, so the process might return early.
