When I compile a finished Liberty Basic program, a .com program along with about 10 other files are created. Since all the files need to be together, I put them all in a folder. The problem I have is how do I get that folder uploaded to the Internet so that others can visit the site and download the folder to their computer. I am new with Run Basic but it is said to run on my browser as it appears to. But there is no URL from a website that a user can put into the window of their browser to find my uploaded folder. I can get a website from web.com, but can Run Basic give me the ability to upload folders from my computer to a website?

atSorry.... a two year old follow up... Please do mention the the host if WINDOWS based. Not a lot of hope for us Linux users if you want to shell() to Linux tools.

You really need to watch what platform they support too. Are they "windows only" shop? Do they offer linux web services?

Have you done a search on the web for Linux hosting services, that allow to install software of your own? Have you checked with David, if he can install Linux utilities for windows?

You really need to watch what platform they support too. Are they "windows only" shop? Do they offer linux web services? Why would they be unwilling to let you run Run BASIC? A VPS (a virtual private server) will let you run whatever you want, which is kind of the whole point of it. -Carl
