I'm thinking of removing the optional semicolon for the RENDER statement. The way it works in beta 4 and previous is that RENDER works like a PRINT statement. No semicolon and that causes a new line after the RENDER. Add a semicolon and that omits a new line.
I'm considering doing away with this because the more specific widget commands don't work this way. For example when you add a link it never adds a new line. It just seems inconsistent to make the RENDER statement work differently.
Whadda ya all think?

RENDER should work like HTML. PRINT has different roots, so it should work like in plain BASIC, but all the new commands should work the same.

Okay. That's how I feel too. RENDER will not work like PRINT. This change coming to you courtesy of beta 5. You may need to modify some of your programs. -Carl
