There is an option in preferences to create time stamped .bas files.
I just looked in a project directory and discovered 107 time stamped copies of my .bas project file. I like the idea of keeping version backups to go back to, but is there a limit on how many are created?
Also, is the only way to remove them by manually going into the project folder and deleting them ?

There is no limit other than the size of your harddisk, every time you save, a time stamped version is created. Also, is the only way to remove them by manually going into the project folder and deleting them ? Yes, it is fully under your manual control

I hope that this info is noted, prominently in the documentation..... As I only stumbled onto it when I viewed a project folder.
