My website is linux based while my PC has windows. Can I create the application on my PC then just upload to the website?
BTW, the signin captcha has got to the world's dumbest way of stopping spammers. I'm forced to watch a commercial to get a code and that code never shows up. The voices on the audio version are barely making it work. it just plain sucks.

There is a Linux and Windows RB install, but there is no reason why the OS you use to write code should matter. I mean, you could write it on a napkin, with notepad, notepadd++, or any standard text-editor and save it as a .bas file and "serve" it with RB.
For a web hosting provider, you have to be able to install RB Server to their hardware or virtual machine.
Then, RB must be configured as a standalone application server, or behind Apache. It will take a bit of research, or even phone calls to your chosen service to get that set up. You can't just upload your RB application to your site.
I'm not sure how familiar you are with servers, hosting, or general web development concepts, but you may want to look into the RB hosting site. I'm sure that would save you lots of headaches. If you're savvy with Linux or Apache, you may just need to find the right host or plan to be able to install RB.
Hopefully you find what you're looking for...

Correction: You CAN just upload your application to your site.
That's if you're uploading to a file directory that an install of Run Basic can access and read files from. Then RB must be set to serve that application file or project.
But you cannot just upload a .bas file to a public web directory because the application is dependent on RB.
RB is what gives .bas files the capability to be online, displayed in a browser.
NOTE: Anyone have corrections, disagreements, or clarifications on the above ?
