Hi everyone,
I fount a recent post explaining the use of RunBASIC personal server and this post from Carl.
Is this still in the pipeline? I read a few other posts that Carl has been really busy lately and had afew problems with LB 5.0 and the development of iBasic (can't remember name).
What I like to know if a pro version is still in the pipeline in the future. I would like to see multiple apps run from the same server with its own unique domain name. Would this even be possible? I am new to web development and have been quite oblivious to it mainly not having much interest in the past about the web.
As I understood so far for every app/program created with RunBASIC you need to buy and host a new server/licence.
Kirk.

As I understood so far for every app/program created with RunBASIC you need to buy and host a new server/licence. You can host as many applications as you like from one server. There is only a limit through the bandwidth your hosting service offers. I do not think there is a limit of published applications, since these are just entries in a XML file. If you need a hosting service for your RB applications, Run BASIC Hosting is there for you.

MySQL and SQL Server support are already working for example. I hope to have an alpha release of Run BASIC v2.0 available this spring. -Carl

Hi guys,
As there is no limit to how many projects I can host from my server. There is nothing stopping me starting a business creating websites using RunBASIC even on a personal server.
Carl that is great news aswell, I am defiantly a fan of RunBASIC the idea is great. And I'm sure with the right marketing this could be quite popular especially for anyone new to web programming like myself.
Kirk.
