I have a home server running Linux with Apache and, of course, Run Basic. I often make substantial changes to the system remotely and was having a heck of a time getting run basic back in operation since it needs to link to a display, and it was unable to do that through SSH (I thought), so I was actually running a vncserver instance and starting runbasic on the vncserver (bad, very bad solution). Anyway, the story is rambling. You can start run basic remotely using SSH by typing in the following (must be logged in as user and in the rb101 directory):
DISPLAY=:0.0 ./rbp rb.im &
Now can anyone tell me how to run it as a daemon, or autostart it in the rc scripts?

That allows you to use Run BASIC on a Linux box without a window manager? -Carl

Another option is to use xvfb (see the man page for details). This will allow you to run the normal Run Basic on a linux server without a graphics display.
