Again, not really a bug, how do you revert to opening projects in the IDE, for editing, when a project is set in prefs as the home page project? I know I can edit prefs.xml or log in to server via internet and change prefs, but what if internet is down? Is there another way or is it feasible that a console button be added to allow removal of home page project?
Thanks,
Mike.

If you set the Login key on the Preferences tab to be some private name you can use that to login: http://localhost:8008/seaside/go/runbasic?app=myLoginKey If the internet is down, you can't access the site remotely. I think that the idea of being able to change things from the console has some merit. Note: If you forget your password or login key you can delete the prefs.xml file and restart the server. -Carl

Note: If you forget your password or login key you can delete the prefs.xml file and restart the server. That's good. Now all I have to know is how to get FireFox to forget all the fumbling rememory attempts and abandon its list of helpful usernames and invalid passwords. Sometimes a heopful feature can turn around and bite you on the tail.

Okay, I'm good to go, with cleaning up my spurious logins. FireFox keeps the password management stuff in Tools > Options > Security, with a very nice management interface.
